The 2014 Workshop on New Frontiers in Control, Communication and Computing (NFC3) is held at Minhang Campus of Shanghai Jiao Tong University on 23 August 2014. Over 80 experts and students from nationwide colleges, such as Zhejiang University, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Tongji University, Shanghai University, and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology, attend the workshop. It brings together leading researchers who are working on or are interested in exploring novel approaches and innovative applications of Control, Communication and Computing (C3).
Chair of the workshop, Prof. Xinping Guan introduces i-WiN-C2 Center's outputs and achievements in the theme topics of C3. Prof. Guan points out the huge potential in development of CPS, and looks insight to the new challenges and opportunities fostered by the integration.

Students said the workshop set up a platform for researchers in different fields to exchange their ideas. Seven keynote talks cover the latest research result in the frontiers of C3, which widens the students' and researchers' scope and inspires new ideas. This workshop played an inspiring role for academic communication and future collaboration.
