The first lesson was offered by Mr. Li'an Li, a PhD student in i-WiN-C2 Center, on 17 July, 2014. Prof. Cailian Chen, Dr. Yiyin Wang, Dr. Hongyu Wang and more than 10 graduate students participated in this course. Li'an introduced the basic skills of LABVIEW, and illustrated the principals of wireless communication by two interesting demos. The innovation ideas and active Q&A session sparked hot discussions. "Well, sometimes I can hardly get it," Youjie Xia, a freshman to LABVIEW, admitted, "but Li'an explained clearly and it seems easier for me to start the trip of LABVIEW."
One of the attending students, Yang He, expressed his cherishment to this amazing opportunity, "the pragmatism of engineering inspires us to pay more efforts to learn LABVIEW, and to build our own set of underlying communications platform. I will cherish this precious opportunity."
The summer course has received great support from several faculty members and students. Wish the course a success. It will definitely foster excellent research in on the fields of emulation, wireless networking and applications.
